I was pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful gem in Penryn as I needed somewhere to be for a few hours unexpectedly. The food was just amazing. Colourful, flavoursome and a nice range of healthy vegan dishes. There was such a nice, calm vibe here, with people coming in for yoga classes. What a great community space for the people in Penryn and surrounding areas. The decor is lovely too. Will definitely be back.

I live nearby and go to Sunshine every couple of weeks for a nice lunch and a coffee and cake. The food is 100% and 100% good. Full of flavour and generous sized portions. I normally have the burrito (see picture). It’s delicious, healthy and always fills me up nicely (lots of protein- tofu and black beans!). The staff are always kind and helpful and the atmosphere peaceful. Cakes are great too! For healthy, delicious, wholefood and 100% vegan food in Cornwall it can't really be beat. 10/10! The yoga studio might be good too but I’m not a yoga person - just go for the food.

such a beautiful cafe! If I lived in the area I’d definitely be going all the time for food and their yoga sessions. Food is amazing as well, all plant based + plenty of gluten free options which is perfect! Their chocolate and peanut butter brownie was a bit too sweet for my liking but I’d still have it again, just tasted incredible and the texture was to die for. peanut noodle salad, flapjack, and the granola are all amazing too. If you’re ever in the area please please visit. Super friendly staff too

We had such a beautiful lunch. My daughter had a mix of colourful salads and I had the same but with a cup of this gorgeous, nourishing daal. It was wonderful to eat it on the terrace in the sunshine. The building is fascinating. It's an old joinery workshop that's been gently and sympathically renovated into a calm and comfortable space.

We recently tried Sunshine Yoga Cafe for the first time and we loved it! They've created such a wonderful space for a relaxing meal and the food was immense. What makes it so exceptional is that they rise to the challenge of making dishes which are both wonderfully wholesome and, at the same time, fantastically flavourful. They've got a great range of dishes - we couldn’t resist the look of the trio of house salads which were set up behind the counter and we also chose a bowl of the Grounding Dahl as we wanted a warming dish and the combination of the two turned out to be a beauty. Their cake/treat counter is a vegan paradise full of all the things you usually can't find anywhere else. Couple that with some lovely hot and cold drink options, and super friendly staff, and you've just found one of Cornwall's finest options for a healthy, incredibly tasty, epic breakfast or lunch!
